Welcome
Ryan (Scarbs) Scarbrough is no stranger to the music business. Scarbs’ drumming career began to take off post college after meeting Matchbox 20 guitarist Kyle Cook at a music festival in Florida. Cook was producing bands and was in need of a drummer for studio sessions and after a few years of recording and touring, Nashville Tennessee started to look like the next move and within 3 months, Scarbs with the help of Cook landed a gig for then pop/rock trio Miggs touring nonstop as well as making his debut on the national stage performing on Good Morning America.
As one gig led to another Scarbs found himself drumming for country duo Thompson Square playing theaters across the country as well as the then late night with Conan O’Brien show. A few short years later local Nashville band A Thousand Horses needed a drummer and with Scarbs being the perfect fit he would soon find himself playing Fox and Friends, Jimmy Kimmel, as well as opening for nationally touring acts such as Brothers Osborn, Blackberry Smoke, Darius Rucker and David Nail to name a few.
Chances are if you’ve spent any amount of time in downtown Nashville on Broadway you’ve seen Scarbs playing at many of the clubs and bars where you’ve felt compelled to stay and watch as his ability to engage a room full of people from the kit is undeniably great.
